Hump Day Poetry Blog Share

(Notice: I suspended Hump Day Poetry in late May for two reasons: 1) a personal situation took me away from blogging for several months and 2) participation wasn’t that strong. It appeared that this was a waste of time, gathering the information each week for the Happenings and writing a poem. With so little interest shown in this weekly blogshare, it just became a no-brainer to suspend it.)

Hump Day Poetry is a weekly Blog-Share every Wednesday.

Here are the rules:

1. Write a poem
2. Link it to my poem of the week with a pingback or by leaving the link to your poem in comments.
3. Grab the banner above and add it to your post to show your support.
4. Visit other bloggers’ poetry for that week. Like, leave a comment, and share! (Please try to visit as many other poets as possible. Keep the community love flowing!)

I will try to have a new poem up each Wednesday no later than 8 am EST. You have from that Wednesday thru to the following Tuesday to add your link. But if you don’t see a new poem that day yet, go ahead and add yours to the previous week’s poem.

Anyone can participate, It doesn’t matter what kind of poetry you write, if it is for other challenges, or if you write a dozen poems that day. Just link up!

Let’s spread the love of poetry around!

Also remember to check out the Happenings in the World of Poetry section at the end of each post. Lots of great things there!

Note: to create a pingback, simply include the url of my post somewhere in your post. Please check my page to ensure your pingback has posted. If not, it is either awaiting moderation, or the pingback failed (happens sometimes!). To ensure your post is seen, you may want to just add the link to my page. I would rather have duplicates than not get to read your poetry!

    Hi,
Great idea. It’s easy to remember because it’s on Wednesday, hump day.
Congratulations on being Danny Ray’s featured blogger. I was his featured blogger too. Maybe you can check out my blog if you need a blogging tip or two. That’s what I blog about.
